About Christine Wallace

Christine Wallace is the Conservative GLA candidate for Lambeth and Southwark. She currently works in Westminster as Chief of Staff to Andrew Selous, the Member of Parliament for South West Bedfordshire, the Second Church Estates Commissioner and the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for South Africa and Mauritius.

During her time with Andrew, she worked on the Ministry of Defence commissioned report ‘Living in Our Shoes’ which focused on Armed Forces families and advised on the recent Archbishops’ Families Commission report on families. Christine is the Secretariat of the All-Party Group on Relationships and a volunteer at a youth charity that spans over Lambeth and Southwark and ran a half-marathon this year to raise money for the charity. Before her time with Andrew Selous Christine worked for Ben Wallace MP and Victoria Prentis MP.

Christine has also worked in the hospitality industry and is currently an advisory director of a wine company. Christine studied Politics and International Relations at university specialising in cyber and completed an internship at First Group in Cincinnati, USA.

Christine has worked on three leadership campaign teams, three current cabinet ministers’ general election teams, four MP teams and countless councillors. In addition, in her role as editor and digital campaign advisor at Digital Tories she worked with candidates on their digital campaign strategies.

Christine currently volunteers at the Lambeth and Southwark based youth charity "Step Out" as a mentor
